We stopped where we could enjoy Loch Leathan …

… and The Old Man of Storre, a rocky pinnacle.

It stands some 160 feet high.

One could also see across the sea with various small islands between Skye and the mainland.
Further north we stopped on some cliffs near Ellishadder and Kilt Rock.

A waterfall tumbled over the edge.

The view south, towards Portree.

Flowers and fall – and broken basalt in the sea.

A spectacular feature in a splendid setting.

Basalt and blooms.

Clifftop heather.
At Staffin there was a Thomas Telford designed church.

We returned to Uig by way of the Quiraing Road.

There was a seal about, but also a diver of some kind.

Hebrides arrived and we could look straight into the car deck.

Let’s finish with a camp site rainbow

Good night. Tomorrow we hit the Outer Hebrides.
