Eoropie

Ah! The place with the rampant monkey musk. We thought it was a delight, just like we do at Winkle Street, 575 miles away (by crow) on the Isle of Wight.

We decided to visit the play park. Fortunately it was Monday.

Now which way first? Let’s try the Adventure Trail which, as the park name suggests was set amongst the dunes.

‘Yep! I can manage this.’

,But this is on springs and wobbles.'

Was this for jumping or stepping games? Or maybe it was just pretty. It’s got to be worth trying!

A failed attempt on the zip wire.

A free to use telescope was ignored by the local wagtail.

But the view out to sea was worth looking at.

We were now in the playground area.

It had everything except children of a younger age than us, although some arrived a bit later.

There were fun notices to enjoy.

Here we look over the mushroom field and mini lighthouse to the village of Eoropie.

A local bird nested under the signboard shelter.

We strolled down the monkey musk stream to the beach.

I still haven’t identified these tiny flowers but they are pretty.

scenes on the way to the beach.

Some wayside detritus.

There appeared to be one grey rock which looked ideal for sitting on. Sadly it was a dead seal and a rather whiffy one too. We rather curtailed our beach visit.

The monkey musk reached right down to the beach.

We decided to head south again.
