Mannin Bay

The 8th August dawned tolerably fine and we decided to head off towards Roundstone. Our route was between the flags marked A and B.

Our first stop, because it looked lovely, was at Mannin bay, not far south of Clifden.

A flock of oystercatchers did a fly-past for us.

Here we look around towards Knock.

As ever, we sought, in vain, for Mr Otter Potter.

A cottage at the end of the bay had hydrangeas on a French scale.

A curragh was moored up close to the shore.

The buildings here were around Ballyconeely.

Next stop Roundstone!
