We sailed into Loch Maddy aboard the Hebrides.
So that was North Uist on our port side.
It was more gentle on the starboard bow.
And there was the place of Lochmaddy – the largest settlement on North Uist.
Little islands occupied the loch.
We got closer to the ferry terminal.
And finally we stepped ashore and were on North Uist
There was our ferry with cars waiting to board for its return journey. But our journey was now southwards through the island of North Uist.
