Going to Great Bernera had never been planned – we just went there on a whim and we still had some places to see – so it was time to move on.
But before we start let’s take a look at the glorious flora near the shoreline.

Great Bernera also had inland lochs to enjoy.
They were lovely and I could enjoy a derelict fishing lodge too.
There are hefty stones in that building. How do they lift them?
A third loch as we returned to the bridge to Lewis.
Back on Lewis we did a loop around a coastal road, which brought us to Miavig and then sped along the main road to Callanish. Callanish is a major site for the world. Let’s, as a taster look at the aerial view of the place.
